Under the leadership of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, Support for the Development of International Competitiveness (UR-GE) projects have started. The project which was initiated for the shoe and shoe sub-industry sectors, will last for 3 years. The project,provides a high-standard training and consultancy services, and it is supported by the Ministry of Commerce. The support provided by the project can reach up to 75 percent.
COMPANY-SPECIAL TRAINING
Within the scope of the project, special services are designed for the companies with analysis studies in which the status and the needs of the companies are determined. 23 companies operating in the shoe and the footwear sub-industry, which are members of ICOC, who are entitled to take part in the project, participate in the needs analysis. Before the 'Needs Analysis', which is the first activity of the Shoe and Footwear Sub-Industry Sectors UR-GE Project, the project kick-off meeting is held with the participation of the cluster companies.

Companies that receive consultancy and training services participate in the market visits. Activities such as promotion, brand, foreign fair visits, trade delegation, matching and bilateral meetings are organized for the companies.
