In the contemporary trade world, the importance of taking joint action is a must in order to increase competitive power on a global scale. Thus, in order to improve international competitiveness of the Turkish footwear companies  the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ICOC) has initiated the project “ICOC Footwear and Footwear Sub-Industry Sectoral Cluster Project”  with the support of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Trade. 

The project which brings together the footwear and footwear sub-industry sectors aims to create awareness of cooperation among members by expanding export capacity, facilitating entrance to new markets and carrying out activities in favor of the sector. Organizing events involving cooperation with potential markets to strengthen largescale collaboration is also one of its main targets.
